Brilliant piece Omar - brain-tickling in all the right ways. I'm reading the book right now and you've crystallised exactly what's been nagging at me about it: Harrison lands real blows but keeps swinging at the wrong target.

A few threads I'd love to see you pull harder on though - the eNPS figure deserved more than a paragraph, the Unilever counter-argument stops just short of the actual answer, and that final section on structural capture feels like the beginning of a much bigger piece. Is there a part two in you?

I just finished reading the book last week and am very grateful for your review of it. Like you I thought it was a brave book and an uncomfortable read and I enjoyed it for that and would recommend people read it for that reason. But your review has really helped frame a couple of things that didn't quite land for me.
